On Friday, 10 March 2017 from 18:00h, at the Cultural institution “Parobrod” in Belgrade, and in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Belgrade - representing the chairmanship of the Visegrad Group, ArtLink presented its newest CD release emerging from the ArtLink Young Talents’ Festival 2016, titled “Balkan-Visegrad Cultural Bridge”.

The CD release appears as a part of a very successful inter-regional project “ArtLink Balkan – Visegrad Cultural Bridge” whose main purpose was to connect the artists from the four countries of the Visegrad Group – Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia, with the artists from Serbia and the Balkans. The artists from these two regions, their cooperation and the ensuing joint performances were the focus of the ArtLink Festival, while the CD features a compilation of their most remarked performances from the ArtLink Festival 2016.

Outstanding soloists, such as cellist Istvan Vardai, violinists Agata Szymczewska and Robert Lakatoš, ensembles – Radio and Television of Serbia Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra Ljubica Marić, Camerata Janaček and the ArtLink Young Virtuosi, as well as the young artists from the Balkans, are featured on this unique CD release.

During the promotional event at “Parobrod”, Ms Jovanka Višekruna Janković, the artistic director of ArtLink, presented the young artist and members of the “ArtLink Young Virtuosi” ensemble, who performed works by Mozart, Vivaldi, Bartok, Martinů and Wieniawski.

The audience included the project’s long-standing supporters, music lovers and representatives of embassies of all four Visegrad countries to Serbia, including H.E. Mr. Tomasz Niegodzisz, the Ambassador of Poland on behalf of the V4 Presidency.
