Launch EFFEA Call on 14 October 2022

Open call for festivals to support emerging artists

Dear festival community,

A gentle reminder to those who have not signed up yet for the EFFEA – European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists – info session on Thursday, 13 October, 12.00 CEST.

We will introduce to you the call for festivals to support emerging artists. EFFEA is launching its first call this Friday, 14 October 2022 (with deadline 15 November) and we want you to know about this new initiative of the European Festivals Association.

*Publication of the call: Friday, 14 October 2022
*Deadline of the call: Tuesday, 15 November 2022

Think and prepare
1. Register your festival on FestivalFinder.eu (or update your account if you are already registered)
2. See which emerging artist your festival would like to support
3. Check which category your festival will apply for: EFFEA “Discovery” Artist or EFFEA “Springboard” Artist
4. Contact at least 2 partner festivals with whom you would like to join forces. Didn’t decide yet? Find your partners on FestivalFinder.eu.22

Together with the EFFEA Platform members from across Europe, we will go into detail of call conditions, criteria, eligibility points and more.

Have a look at the EFFEA Flyer and on EFA’s website.

We look forward to meeting you on Thursday and answering any questions you may have.

Warm wishes,

The EFA Team
