Artistic association ArtLink has traditionally celebrated the World Music Day with an open-air chamber concert, on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 20:00, through first-time cooperation with the Legacy of Petar Lubarda.

This year’s concert, organized in cooperation with the House of Legends, the Association of the Festival of Serbia, the EU Delegation in Serbia and the Embassy of Bulgaria, presented two artists from Bulgaria: harpist Andjela Madjarova and flautist Ivona Nedeva, who performed French music for harp and flute.
Young cellist, and the winner of ArtLink Most Promising Young Artist Award for 2017, Vuk Ovaskainen made a distinguished appearance, while the concert was sparkled with the sounds of the Serbian rock guitarist Bojan Ivanovski – JOBY, famous for his special rhythmic guitar technique, energetic performances, specific pop/rock variations on acoustic guitar songs.
The concert was opened by the director of the House of Legatees Mr Filip Brusić and the Artistic Director of Artlink and President of the Association of Art Festivals of Serbia Ms Jovanka Višekruna Janković. Among the guests were high officials from the European Commission from Brussels, representatives of the Embassies of France, Bulgaria, Romania and the European Cultural Centers.
After the concert, the guests were treated to a professionally curated tour through the Legacy of Petar Lubarda collection, as well as a wine tasting of the Fruška Gora winery Quet.
At the same time, the World Music Day concert served to announce the ArtLink Young Talents’ Festival, which will be officially opened on 22 September 2018 with the gala event “Night of the Pianos” at the Kolarac Endowment, showcasing two outstanding French pianists, Michel Dalberto and Jean-Paul Gasparian. With this concert, ArtLink, the Embassy of France and the French Institute will pay tribute to the centenary of the First World War and the French – Serbian Alliance.
