The second edition of Women ArtLinks Festival Forum (WAF)

The second edition of Women ArtLinks Festival Forum (WAF) that is supported by UNESCO, Secretary generale and National Commission of UNESCO to Serbia, on October 2, from 10 to 13 in Madlena Palace in Belgrade.

We are pleased to announce the second edition of the Women ArtLinks Forum Festival (WAF), with the support of the National Commission of UNESCO, which will to be held on October 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Madlena Palace in Belgrade ( Boulevard Kralja Aleksandra Karadjordjevica 53).

This year, the Forum will focus on the strong connection between empowerment of the women of all generations in cultural sector through offering them the platform for development of their skills, well-being and mental health, especially in the month dedicated to raising awareness about women’s health and the fight against breast cancer. Through art we open a dialogue about how creative expression can positively affect achieving the goals, mental and emotional well-being.

Art and Music in particular, has always been a means through which people find relief, strength and a sense of purpose. Exploring this connection between art education and managing the art, with our women leaders, the support they need to achieve their visions and missions, we want to inspire conversations about how creativity can play a key role in the process of empowerment of the women and the society as whole.

ArtLink festival has always been focused on the talent development, so it will continue in the month of October to give the stage to young Jazz performers and to Women in Jazz and Classical Music.
We hope you will join us on a day of cultural exchange, creativity and support for an important cause. Let’s celebrate healing together the power of art and the strength of women everywhere.
