Una Stanic was born on December 13th, 1997.

Una began studying violin at the age of five, while her extracurricular music education included piano studies. Una is currently a student of Prof. Pavel Vernikov at the Musik and Art University of the City of Vienna as well as a student of Prof. Vesna Stankovic-Moffatt, at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. She has participated in masterclasses with Prof.Ana Chumachenco, Pavel Vernikov, Aaron Rosand, Zakhar Bron, Krzystof Wegrzyn, Vesna Stankovic-Moffatt, Joseph Silverstein, Igor Voloschin, Stefan Milenkovich, Nemanja Radulovic, Dejan Bogdanovic and Roman Simovic.

Recently, Una was the youngest Finalist of Bartok World Competition in Hungary, Winner of Laureate (Fifth Prize) at the 11th International Violin Competition „Vaclav Huml“ in Zagreb 2017., as well as the Winner of the Second Prize at the 46th International Jeunesses Musicales Competition (WFIMC) in Belgrade 2016. and three special prizes.

Una also won the First Prizes at the „Szymon Goldberg Award 2013“ in Germany, „Mary Smart Concerto Competition 2013“ in New York City, USA, „Young talents and orchestra“ in Italy, 2014 and Fidelio Competition in Vienna, in 2015. Her other recognitions are numerous prizes at various International Competitions like “Remember Enescu“ in Romania, “Vittoria Caffa Righetti“in Italy; Kocian in Czech Republic;“Petar Konjovic“( EMCY) in Belgrade;“Ohrid pearls“ (EMCY) in Macedonia; “Andrea Postachinni“ in Italy.

She received ArtLink’s prestigious „The Most Promising Young Music Artist Award“ and the Prize – Music scholarship as an outstanding young artist in Steiermark, Austria. She also received a scholarship from the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein and participate regurarly in the activities offered by the Academy.Una received the Scholarship from Maestro Claudio Abbado for her studies at Music Academy Fiesole in Italy and performed solo resitals at Palace Strozzi Sacrati in Florence, in memory of Maestro Abbado. She is also the Winner of the scholarships from Foundation for young talents „Dositeja“ and the Scholarship from the Republic Foundation for the Development of Scientific and Artistic Youth.

She performed at numerous festivals, like Holand International Music Festival, Evmelia Music Festival in Greece, Luka Festival in Italy, Ljubljana Festival, ArtLink Festival in Belgrade, KozArt, Bunt and Summit Music Festival in New York. Una is a soloist and concertmaster of ArtLink’s Youth Chamber Orchestra, as well as an associate member of Vienna Chamber Orchestra. She is also a member of the Ensemble Esperanza.

In 2017. was published her first compact disc in Edition of ArtLink, Belgrade and with support of „Heger & Partner“ Attorneys at Law from Vienna.

She performed the soloist concerts with Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra in Budapest, „Mihail Jora“ Philharmonic Orchestra in Bacau and Milan, Radio Symphony Orchestra of Belgrade and with Zagreb Phylharmonic Orchestra.
