FEDOR RUDIN, violin

“A brilliant display of artistry on the violin”, says the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger about Fedor Rudin.
First Prize winner of most important international violin competitions such as Henri Marteau, Rodolfo Lipizer and Aram Khachaturian, the French-Russian violinist is quickly establishing himself as one of the most exciting and gifted young concert soloists of today’s generation.
His recent concert engagements included solo debuts at prestigious concert halls like Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium in New York, Cadogan Hall in London, Paris Philharmonie, Vienna Musikverein, House of Music in Moscow, Tonhalle Zurich, Cologne Philharmonie, Dusseldorf Tonhalle and Hamburg Laeiszhalle, with many world-renowned orchestras including the Basel Symphony Orchestra, the National Orchestra of the Opéra Bastille, the Bulgarian National Orchestra, the Bretagne Symphony Orchestra, the Erfurt Philharmonic Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Weimar, the Nürnberg Symphony Orchestra, the Cape Town Philharmonic, the Paris Chamber Orchestra and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.
Fedor is regularly invited to musical festivals such as Salzburg Festival in Austria, ArtenetrA, Musée en Musique (where he won the Audience Prize in 2012), Périgord Noir and Giverny chamber music festivals in France, Braunschweig Classics and Oleg Kagan Festivals in Germany, Musica Riva in Italy, Crans Montana Classics in Switzerland, and most recently Mozart Festival in Havana, Cuba. He has shared the stage with artists such as Maxim Vengerov, Shlomo Minz, Darrell Ang, Vladimir Altschuler, Christoph Poppen, Emil Tabakov, Conrad van Alphen, Igor Levit, Itamar Golan, Francois Dumont, Laurent Korcia and Vadym Kholodenko.
A devoted chamber musician, Fedor is a founding member of Fratres Trio, hailed as “a new generation of classical music” by the press for their unusual combination of violin, saxophone and piano. The ensemble was a recipient of the Best of NRW Concert Series Award in Germany, and has most recently received the Supersonic Award by Pizzicato Magazine for their CD release “Couleurs d’un Rêve”.
Born in Moscow in 1992 to a musicians family, his grandfather is the famous Russian avant-garde composer Edison Denisov. He has studied with Larissa Kolos, Miroslav Roussine, Svetlin Roussev, Zakhar Bron and Pierre Amoyal.
Fedor plays the 1680 “Paganini-D’Annunzio” Stradivarius, generously loaned to him by the Rin Collection of Singapore. He became a laureate of the French fund “Fondation d’entreprise Banque Populaire” in December 2013.

PAVLE KRSTIĆ, piano

Pavle Krstić is a student at the prestigious University of Music and Dramatic Arts Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria, since 2013, in the class of renowned music pedagogue Prof. Pavel Gililov. Pavle began playing the piano at the age of 6 and completed his primary and secondary music studies in the class of Milena Apić.
Pavle Krstić performed as a soloist at prominent events and prestigious halls in Serbia, as well as Croatia, Montenegro, Austria, Italy, Germany, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Lichtenstein, San Marino, Estonia, The Netherlands… He represented Serbia and the “Balkan Festival” in Tivat, Montenegro (2010), and took part in the festival: “Vienna Young Pianists” in Vienna (2012), “Neuhaus Festival” in Moscow (2013), “Astana Piano Passion” in Khazahstan (2014), “Spazio Klassik” in Bolzano, Italy (2016). He also took part in numerous summer and winter academies in Serbia, as well as at “Mendelssohn” in Leipzig, (2014, 2016), “Enharmonia” in Estepona, Spain (2014), “Junior Piano Academy Eppan” in Italy (2015) and “Cigliari International Music Academy” in Sardinia, Italy (2015), “Wilhelm Kempff Academy” at his villa in Positano, Italy (2016), “Mozarteum International Summer Academy” in Salzburg, Austria (2016).
Pavle is the recipient of the scholarship at the International Music Academy in the Principality of Lichtenstein, regularly partakes at intensive weeks and events of the Academy, and as a prominent student performed at the “Next Generation” Festival in Switzerland (2016).
The recipients of this prestigious Award – the ArtLink-Société Générale Most Promising Young Music Artist in Serbia Award – have previously been Serbia’s most eminent young artists the like of Irena Josifoska, Nemanja Stanković, Stanko Madić, Sanja Bizjak, David Horvat, and others.
