The concert of the young Austrian flautist Marianna Busslechner, accompanied by pianist Alisa Bešević, was held at Belgrade City Hall in cooperation with the Austrian Kultur Forum.

Marianna Busslechner was born on December 5th 1999, in Linz, Austria. At the age of 3, she was already learning piano, and in 2005 and 2006, she won First Prize with excellence in Prima la Musica competitions – performing, among other programs, her own compositions. She started studying flute when 7 years old, in Vienna and Linz, under professor Helmut Trawöger, one of the leading pedagogues and flautists in Austria.
In 2010, the Anton Bruckner Privatuniverzitet, the Academy for gifted in Linz, accepted her as their youngest student. From 2011-2012, she studied in the class of professor Bernhard Krabatsch (who is the solo flautist of the Mozarteum Orchestra of Salzburg). From September 2012, she studies with professor Johanne Dömötör (an internationally known flautist and the youngest university professor in the German language area).
She further expanded her music education by attending the Master Courses for young flautists, among others with the exceptional Italian flautist and international pedagogue Francesca Canali, and with the leading Austrian flautist Karl-Heinz Schütz, the solo flautist of the Vienna Philharmonic.
She won First Place with excellence as a flautist in 2009, 2011, 2013 in Prima la Musica, Austrian state and national competitions, and in 2012 and 2013 with ensemble MasemisemA on flute and percussion.
In 2010, she won “Dr Josef Ratzenböck” scholarship from the government of Upper Austria, for exceptional talent and achievement.
Within the format of Concert Galas and First Place Winner appearances, Marianna performed in Brucknerhaus in Linz, Konzerthaus in Vienna (The Austrian and Serbian Friendship Concert. In 2014 Marianna won a prestigious award at the competition Musika Juventus in Vienna and the concert in Schubert Hall at Vienna Konzerthaus as a part of the award.
Since 2012, she’s a member of OÖ JS Orchester.
For exceptional telnet and achievements, she received the “Dr Josef Ratzenböck» scholarship from the government of Upper Austria in 2009. She also won the Rotary Club Award Braunau and the Kiwanis Kunstpreis Gmunden (2014).
As a part of festivals, gala concerts and concerts of first-prize-winners she performed at the Brucknerhaus in Linz, Konzerthaus in Vienna (Serbian-Austrian Friendship Concert), as well as in the Concert Hall of the Kolarac Endowment in Belgrade.
She partook in masterclasses for young flautists by Francesca Canali and the leading Austrian flautist Karl-Heinz Schütza (solo flautist of the Vienna Philharmonic), Michael Martin Koflera (Professor at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and solo flautist of the Munich Philharmonic) and his colleague Martin Belic.
At the Musica Juventutis competition in Vienna, in 2014, she won the prestigious award and a debut concert at the Vienna Konzerthausu Schubertsaal in April 2015.
In June 2015 she won the 3rd Prize at the International competition in Oldenburg, Germany.
Alisa Bešević-Busslechner, piano (Serbia / Austria)
Alias was born in Belgrade, into the family of renowned musicians. From an early age, Alisa studied piano with internationally renowned pianists and pedagogues. At a very young age, she started her musical education with Professor Arbo Valdma, and then with Professor Konstantin Bogino in whose class she graduated from at the University of Music in Belgrade. Alias received her Master’s degree from the University Mozarteum in Salzburg, with Professor Karl-Heinz Kämmerling.
Alisa attended numerous master classes in Italy, Austria and Germany, with Konstantin Bogino, Bruno Rigutto, Jean-Louis Hagenauer, Karl-Heinz Kammerling…
From 1995 until 2012 Alisa practised pedagogy as a piano teacher and artistic associate in OÖ Musikschulwerk. Since 2001 Alisa collaborated regularly, as a pianist, in the class of Professor Josef Kirner at Anton Bruckner University.
Since 2008, Alisa is an artistic associate at the Department of wind and percussion instruments at Anton Bruckner University in Linz, where she collaborates with professors Josef Kürner and Wilfried Brandstötter.
Her resume counts numerous concerts, piano recitals, concerts with the orchestra as a soloist as well as a chamber musician in Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, as well as in Germany, Italy, France, Austria and the Dominican Republic.
Alisa has numerous television and radio recordings for Radio Belgrade, Zagreb and “Tell Antillas”.
Since 2012 Alisa Bešević-Busslechner performed numerous concerts in a piano duo with Waltraud Wulz.
