Roundtable on Regional cooperation, organised as a part of the Visegrad – Balkan Cultural Bridge Project, held at Czech Embassy in Belgrade

Roundtable on Regional cooperation organised as a part of the Visegrad – Balkan Cultural Bridge Project, conducted by ArtLink of Belgrade and supported by the International Visegrad Fund, was held at the Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade, on 18 March 2016. The welcoming remarks were given by Mr Jiří Kyrian, Deputy Head of Mission of the Czech Embassy in Belgrade and Jovanka Višekruna Janković, Director, ArtLink.

The Visegrad – Balkan Cultural Bridge is conceived as an intellectual platform for performing art management themes, contact-making and exchange among performing arts managers from all over the two regions, with sessions delivered by international experts as well as through participants’ own presentations and interventions. The round table included presentations by prominent experts – Professor Milena Dragičević Šešić, PhD, UNESCO expert and Head of Department for Cultural Management at Belgrade University for the Arts, Mg Svetlana Waradzinova, Provost and PR of Bratislava Academy and Mr Fation Dragosh, an expert from Tirana.

The participants of the Round Table were representatives of institutions that are partners of ArtLink in its role as coordinator of the Balkan – Visegrad Cultural Bridge Project, such as the Cultural Centre Belgrade, the Serbian Festival Association, ART TV, Radio-Television of Serbia (RTS), BITEF, Guitar Art Festival, the Faculty of Music Belgrade, and others.

Until the end of 2016, the Balkan – Visegrad Cultural Bridge Project will organise an additional number of activities, among them joint performances of artists from the Visegrad Group countries and the Balkans, as well as the new edition of the “ArtLink Festival”, in October 2016.
